Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with your specific inquiries.

  • What is the minimum number of registrants?

We ask for a minimum of 10 people per delegation for group rates to be applicable.

  • How many days is a typical Pilgrimage?

It's up to you! In general, trips are 8 days, 7 nights plus or minus two.

  • When is the right time to visit Israel?

Israel has beautiful sunny weather almost year round. That said, our rainy season tends toward December/January and our hottest month is usually August.

  • Will we have WiFi on our stay?

Yes! All our buses are equipped with Wifi, as are the hotels. Do note that sometimes when everyone is using the bus wifi at the same time it may take longer to send photos.

  • How much does a typical trip cost?

Since every trip is tailor made to fit your group, we don't provide pricing estimates. We believe congregations of all sizes and means should be able to go on a faith-renewing journey of the Holy Land,  so our trips range from economy to luxury (eg, 5 star hotel). No matter what, our commitment to excellence remains the same for all customers.

  • What currency is used in Israel?

NIS (New Israeli Shekel/₪). If you forget to exchange money in your place of origin, don’t worry! There are plenty of places to exchange money, from the airport and to all major cities. Additionally, Israel is a modern country where all major credit cards are accepted in nearly every location.

  • Is there tax (VAT) on purchases?

Yes. Most purchases in Israel apply Value Added Tax (VAT). Come to the airport with your merchandise and you can be reimbursed (cash or credit).

  • What's it like in modern Israel?

In a few words: open, vibrant, accommodating, pluralistic, and non-judgemental. If you are particularly interested in incorporating modern Israel to your trip, we recommend starting with “Israel of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”

  • Do you offer trips through Jordan and/or Egypt?

If you'd like to visit sites in Egypt or to use your vicinity to one of the 7 wonders of the world and go to Petra, our experienced team will help incorporate those locations into your trip.

  • Is Israel safe to visit?

Besides being the Holy Land, Israel is one of the most advanced countries in the world in terms of security.

  • What kind of food is in Israel?

Israel itself is a mixture of so many nations and traditions, and that’s reflected in its cuisine. Israeli food features fresh fruits, vegetables, and fresh meat. Pro tip: don’t ask for extra spice if you can’t handle it!

  • Do you provide visa assistance?

For groups of 10+, we provide Visa assistance. It usually takes around 14-21 days for approval, but may take longer depending on place of origin.
